ABOUT ME
I grew up in Japan and lived in New York City for 10 years.
After receiving a BFA Summa Cum Laude in illustration at FIT in NY,
I had worked as a studio illustrator in Manhattan,
creating greeting cards and gift wraps for the North American and European markets.
I've been exhibiting my artworks in NY and Tokyo.
I moved back to Japan in 2009 and work with clients worldwide as a freelancer.
I currently work as a full-time surface designer for interior
at the printing company.
This cross-cultural experience deeply informs my work,
which easily transverses between the worlds of East and West,
of realism and fantasy, and of seriousness and whimsy.
